Skin in the Game: Why Disruption Selling is Partnering with Pling

We’re pleased to announce that Disruption Selling has entered a strategic advisory partnership with Pling Solutions GmbH (Pling) — the company building the operational backbone for medical practices, starting in dentistry. Disruption Selling joins Pling as its dedicated go-to-market partner.
This is not a conventional consulting engagement, and it’s worth explaining why.
The company
Pling covers what the industry has largely overlooked: equipment management, regulatory compliance, team coordination, and service procurement — the unglamorous, high-frequency work of actually running a practice. It rarely makes headlines, but it touches thousands of practitioners every day, and it’s exactly the kind of problem that turns into a durable, sticky business when someone gets product and go-to-market right.
Pling has. The company is bootstrapped and profitable, growing multiples year over year, with customers ranging from single practitioners to enterprise-level dental chains. And because compliance makes the product mission-critical, customers stay.
Why now
The most interesting moment in a company’s life is when the question shifts from “Does the product work?” to “How fast and how repeatably can we put it in front of the right buyers?”. Pling has reached that point from a position of strength: proven product, growing demand, and a profitable core.
Our job is to help build the growth engine with the same discipline the founders applied to the product — foundations first, then scale. We’re joining early so the go-to-market motion is shaped from the ground up, not retrofitted later.
Our model: aligned, not billed by the hour
Disruption Selling didn’t structure this engagement as a time-and-materials mandate. Our compensation is success-based: we only win if Pling wins.
We think advice is worth more when the advisor is exposed to the outcome. Being paid on results rather than sending an invoice changes how we show up — we’re not optimizing for billable activity, we’re optimizing for enterprise value five years out. That’s what we mean by skin in the game.
What we’ll focus on
Sharpening the ideal customer profile, market segmentation, value proposition, and messaging
Building a repeatable sales playbook and running it hand in hand with the founders and the commercial team
Identifying and opening the right doors in the German dental ecosystem
Supporting key deals across the entire sales cycle
The through-line is sequencing: build the capability, then add the scale.
Looking ahead
We partner with companies we’d be happy to stand behind for the long run, and Pling is squarely one of them. We’re excited to roll up our sleeves with the team and help turn a strong product into a category-defining commercial engine.
More to come as we go.
